I started my professional fitness journey as a student athlete in San Diego Ca, doing everything I could to improve my skills on and off the field and court. Learning to maximize my human potential was my main goal in the early 2000’s . Running track with my cousin as an unattached athlete made competition fun but also showed me I had room for improvement. Taking class after class and getting more certificates to understand human kinetics assisted me in improving my 100 meter time from 11.22 to an 11.00 , this was huge so naturally my peers wanted to train with me, my style became somewhat of a talk of the town, I improved in football , basketball and track .. I stand at 5 feet 11 inches on a good day and I was able to dunk a basketball with only a 2 foot drop step. My cousin and mentor Robert Dickson showed me the ropes of being a trainer at a professional level. I flew to Houston Texas where my family is from and my cousin who is very well connected in the sports world threw me to the dogs. My first training session was with Robert Horry and Damon stoudamire with the session led by “ O athletic
“ owner James cooper. This was the moment I knew I could do this and make a difference in athletes lives. I since then have trained countless professional athletes and weekend go getters just introducing the love of health and wellness to those who are willing to listen and meet me half way!
So if you are ready to up your game come see me .. it’s time to out in that work!

Coach Holmes started playing at the age of 7yrs while living in Compton. Upon moving South Central and Long Beach I continued to play. When I was 11yrs I joined Sam Minor and the B-Ball Inner-City Hoops AAU program out of Carson Ca. While 15u our team had 7 players and was ranked #2 in the country.I’ve played against multiple NBA players such as Luke Walton Yao Ming Casey Jacobsen etc. Also around this time I was working at the summer pro-league at the Long Beach Pyramid where I was around NBA superstars like Kobe Bryant/Jerry Stackhouse/Derek Fisher/ Jermaine O’Neal/ Byron Russell/Rick Barry Etc. Played at Lakewood High/Long Beach Poly/Washington Preparatory High School. Played at Fresno city college for Vance Walber and went 66-5 as a 2yr. Starter..!!! Played at Cal state Hayward then played in the ABA in St. Louis..!!! Started coaching at Clovis West High School under Tom Orlich, then coached at Clovis High under John Jones and good friend Cory Fisher. Next coached at Long Beach Poly under longtime Friend Sheldon Diggs and longtime friend Art Perris. Long time friend Ramel Lloyd asked me to come Coach The Frogs aau team (which was ran by the rapper The Game) where I did for a few years until we joined Marvin Bagley and EYBL Phoenix Pham. Coaching with Phoenix Pham I was able to be in the gym with many NBA pros and their trainers. Superstars like James Harden/Clay Thompson/ Kevin Durant/Stanley Johnson/Andre Drummond/Kelly UBré etc. While continuing to Coach at LB Poly I was coaching Phoenix Pham in the summer with kids from LB Poly/Sierra Canyon(Marvin Bagley)/Mayfair/Saint John Bosco. Vance Walberg who was my coach in college had recently left coaching the Sacramento Kings(2017) asked me to come to Clovis West and Coach with him. So from there I went back to Fresno and coached at Clovis West for 3yrs before going to Hoover where I’ve been for 2yrs. I’ve also been coaching in The Drew League out in Los Angeles for about 8yrs and have coached many NBA superstars like LaMelo Ball and international superstars like Marvel Harris. I’ve added players to our Drew League roster from Fresno and look to continue to do so.
